Photography &Media Consent

How we capture and share images and video of children, and how parents and guardians give, review and withdraw their consent — clearly and transparently.

1. Our Commitment

International Kid's Fashion Zimbabwe works with children and young people. We obtain clear, written consent from a parent or legal guardian before any photograph or video of a child is taken for our platform, events, castings or promotional use.

2. What We May Capture

We may capture photographs and video during applications, castings, runway shows, events, editorials and behind-the-scenes moments. This content is used to celebrate young talent and promote our non-profit mission and events.

3. Consent is Required

For any child under 18, we require explicit written consent from a parent or legal guardian before publishing a child's image or video — whether on our website, social media, in print or across our promotional channels.

4. How Consent Is Given

Consent is captured as part of the model application process and may be reviewed at any time. When you apply on behalf of a child, confirming consent is part of your application. We may also request consent separately for specific shoots or events.

5. Protecting Children Online

We never publish a child's private contact details, home address or school information alongside their image. Content involving children is shared with care and never in a way that could compromise a child's safety.

6. Withdrawing Consent

Parents and guardians may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. When consent is withdrawn, we will remove or stop using the child's image and video wherever reasonably possible. Please allow reasonable time for removal across all channels.

7. Third Parties

Where content is shared with media partners, sponsors or third parties, we ask them to respect both our safeguarding standards and the terms of your consent, and we will not authorise uses beyond those you have agreed to.

If you have any question, request or concern about how a child's image or video is used, please contact us. We respond to all media-consent requests promptly and with care.
